Today I enter the world of blogging. I have always dreaded making this leap into the world of multi-media fueled communication, but here I am. So, hello internet world, how are you?
As of now I am reconstructing my website, jacobjustindesign.com, for your viewing pleasure. With the help of my beautiful wife, Heather, I have realized that I need to embrace my creative side and be true to myself. Become a true artist.
As I continue to work on my new and improved website, I am finishing a project for Shoestring Valley Community Church. This is a small church located in Onalaska, Washington which is about an hour and a half north of Portland, Oregon. The pastor had contacted me wanting an identity for the church and some business cards designed.

Once he saw the logo I created he asked me if I could be interested in working on the church’s outdoor welcoming sign. I of course gladly accepted.
Feel free to check in on the progress of my website construction and I am looking forward to when I can announce that it has been completed.
